Pretty lil skinny bitch
‘’Pretty lil’ skinny bitch’’
That’s usually the line some use to describe me…
Not too sure about their tone and pitch
But it’s always loud enough for me to hear their plea
A humble request for help to deal with jealousy or…perhaps pity?
I’m never sure about the degree
But one thing is true in what they say of me:
I AM PRETTY.
Pretty lil’ skinny bitch…
The vocabulary is so rich!
I can feel the disgust
In the tone of their voice
They blame me for my guts
…Or lack of…it’s choice.
Women often say I’m too frale
Trying to guess the numbers on the scale
Tellin`me ``Girl! Suga’s on sale!!’’
Thinking that they’ll prevail
Into getting me the size of a whale
While still tryin’a figure out ways to get the alpha male
But I ain’t into twisted up fairy tales
Most forget the simplest details
Try to be anyone but yourself and you will fail.
With or without clothes is of no importance to the cook!
If you want a recipe, you still gotta read through the book
And if you care about the way you look
Choose the food on which you’ll get hooked
Wisdom & greens is all it ever took.
Men tend to enjoy looking at my body
And even if they like what they see
I can guarantee it didn’t come for free!
I didn’t get down with any surgery
Or butchered myself in the name of beauty
That is just not a part of me…
I didn’t spend hours in front of the TV
Or stuffed myself watching a movie…
No, no, no…All I ever did was decide to be healthy.
I enjoy having the energy when my man wants to get down and dirty
I enjoy feeling sexy when I’m rockin’ my bikini
I enjoy knowing my body looks even hotter without a belly
I enjoy being Me…In all my physicality.
So if ever you find yourself looking over
Saying: ‘’ This bitch is so skinny! I hate her!’’
Know that I don’t care much for what you think
And if I may, I’d like to refer you a shrink…
And despite any way you may look at it
If I had a dick, you’d be suckin’ it.''

Question 1:
How did you get into acting?
I started acting in high school plays and an agent had seen me in one and asked to represent me.
Question 2:
How did the idea of Fans come about?
The idea came from my old roommate who is a huge batman fan, and to the best of his ability tries to be like Bruce Wayne. He buys a lottery ticket every week in hopes that he’ll have the means to engineer a bat suit, he plans his potential escape whenever he enters a room should danger befall him and has a direct line to the commissioner.
Question 3:
Name some of the Montreal locations you guys used for shooting scenes to Fans?
One Million Comix, Westmount Park, Olympic Stadium, Old Port, CIBC building, the Plateau and many others.
Question 4:
Where all the episodes filmed using Montreal actors?
Yes. The talent in Montreal is unbelievable. We’re so lucky to be a part of such an incredible community of talented actors and I’m so proud that we were able to show that off. If I can say anything about this show, it’s filled with so many incredible performances.
Question 4:
What kind of reception have you guys received from home and abroad to Fans?
So far it seems like people are responding really well to it. The hate mail to the no mail at all ratio is definitely in our favor. At first we were a little worried because it’s about comic book fans and that’s not exactly a subject that everyone can relate with, but I think we kept a pretty decent balance between what is commonly known about superheroes and nerding out completely.
Question 5 :
Where do you see Fans being in one year from now?
To be honest I have no idea. This is the first big production we’ve ever done, so I’m not quite sure how it works or what to expect in terms of the long run. My only hope is that people watch it and find it funny. Going to comic-con wouldn’t suck either though.
Question 6:
What projects are you currently working on in L.A?
We just wrapped on a film called Dreamer Blvd for the Just For Laughs Film Festival. And also chilling.
Question 7:
What are your thoughts on the Montreal acting scene?
I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. In the past couple years I’ve gotten to work with some pretty unbelievable actors who all just seem to have so much passion and appreciation for what they do, it’s really inspiring.
Question 8:
What is the biggest difference between the people you’ve met in Hollywood and those from Montreal?
There’s a lot more work here in L.A. compared to Montreal. So I’d say the biggest difference would be the attitude towards the whole auditioning process. In Montreal you can go weeks or even months at a time without going to a single audition. Where as in L.A. you can be going to three auditions a day. In Montreal an audition is treated as a lucky break in itself, and in L.A. it’s treated more as a formality.
Question 9:
Do you have any suggestions to other Montreal actors?
Every person who wants to be an actor has something to offer. Whether it’s a certain character that they’ve built up or even just another side to themselves, they have something to share. So my advice is don't wait around for the perfect part to come your way, find a way to share it. Get a camera and a few friends together and show it to us. Chances are something amazing can come from it, and if not, then at least you can say “I tried bitches”.
Innovative Motion would like to thank Kevin, and wish this Montreal product the best of luck in his future endeavors. We officially deem that Kevin and cast of FANS are FLY!
